Chris Edwards
Co-Founder

As co-owner of a small business, Chris wears many hats, but primarily handles the business and financial management at Focus HVAC. He previously worked in construction estimating and service management. Prior to that he spent 8 years fixing C-130 airplanes on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. He earned an MBA from Drexel University in 2012. He is always striving to make Focus HVAC a great company to work with, and a great company to work for. He also enjoys laughing, being outdoors, reading, ice hockey, dating his wife and keeping up with his two daughters.

John Edwards III
Co-Founder

John began his HVAC career in 1999 after graduating with honors from Lincoln Technical Institute. He eagerly learned the trade first as an installation technician and then as a service technician. He is highly-trained and experienced with most types of HVAC systems including mini-splits, boilers, tankless water heaters, duct and airflow, and commercial units. He now holds the NJ Master HVACR License for Focus HVAC. John is always looking to help others in the community. He holds food drives and sponsors organizations that help the less-fortunate throughout the year. He enjoys being a workaholic, playing hockey, wrestling with his sons and outdoor activities.

Bob Colona
Field Supervisor

Bob has been with Focus HVAC for 9 years but has been in the HVAC industry for almost 20 years. He holds an EPA certification and specializes in boilers, residential and commercial units. Bob has many roles at Focus HVAC, but primarily is our job coordinator and lead installer. He is always keeping up with the latest technologies by attending HVAC classes. Bob enjoys fishing, playing hockey, coaching, and family time with his wife and two children.  

Gab Thomas
Administrative Operations Manager

Gab has been with Focus HVAC for 5 years. She holds an associate’s degree in business administration from Rowan College. Gab enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and is passionate about animals.

Dan Matson
Comfort Advisor

Dan has been in the HVAC industry for almost 20 years. He has been with Focus HVAC since 2017. He began his career as a technician before moving over to a comfort advisor role. He holds a NJ Master HVACR license, multiple Building Performance Institute (BPI) certifications, and EPA Universal certification. His knowledge and experience has made him a valuable resource for residential and commercial clients throughout South Jersey. Dan is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He lives in Oaklyn, NJ and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

Robert Phillips
Comfort Advisor

Bob has been with Focus HVAC for 6 years and has been in the HVAC industry for 42 years. He holds a NJ Master HVACR License. Bob enjoys traveling and trips on his motorcycle. ​

Mary Ellen Vincent
Administrative Assistant

​Mary Ellen has been with Focus HVAC for 3 years but has been in the HVAC industry for over 26 years. She enjoys relaxing, spending time with friends and family, going on vacations and spoiling her granddaughter.

Brett Edwards
​Lead Technician

Brett has been with Focus HVAC for 11 years. He is a Pennco Tech graduate. Brett is also Amana, Coleman, Weil-McLain, Fujitsu and Navien trained and certified. In his free time, Brett enjoys fishing, hockey and spending time with his friends.

Adam Tesler
​Lead Technician

Adam has been with Focus HVAC for 6 years and has been in the HVAC industry for 12 years. He is a Pennco Tech graduate and he holds an EPA certification. Adam is also Amana, Coleman, York commercial, Weil-McLain, Fujitsu and Navien trained and certified. In his free time, Adam enjoys fishing.

Paul Petracci
Technician

Paul has been with Focus HVAC for 2 years. He is a Pennco Tech graduate and is EPA certified. In his free time, Paul likes to golf, go to the beach and hang out with friends.

Juan Herrera

Juan has been with Focus HVAC for 2 years. He is a Pennco Tech graduate and holds several certifications including EPA, OSHA 30. He enjoys fishing and basketball in his free time.
